Ann Arbor, MI\u2014December 16, 2008<\/strong> – In a response to hearing that a local Ann Arbor hosting company, IAS, was suddenly evicted from it offices, disrupting client websites, Online Technologies Corporation announced today that it will offer immediate assistance, including 1 month free email, website and shared server colocation, for displaced IAS customers. Those affected should call Online Technologies at 734-213-2020 to get assistance.<\/p>\n

From reports, Internet Applications & Solutions Inc. (IAS) had an office at 1327 Jones Drive in north Ann Arbor, and was evicted Tuesday morning, without notice to any of its clients. Witnesses reported seeing computers being put out at the curb. IAS services many local nonprofits in the community, including AATA, the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, Ann Arbor Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Ann Arbor Arts Alliance. Many of IAS\u2019s clients called Online Technologies for assistance Tuesday.<\/p>\n

After finding out a number of nonprofit organizations were left without their email, web or other Internet services, Online Tech decided to offer immediate \u201ctriage\u201d to get these companies back online as soon as possible. \u201cThis is a critical time of year for non-profits and ever hour their website is down is an hour of missed opportunity\u201d said Mike Klein, President of Online Technologies.<\/p>\n

These services will be delivered from Online Tech’s newest data center in Avis Farm\u2019s. The 10,500 square foot data center is one of three data centers in Michigan that houses Online Technologies\u2019 growing colocation, dedicated server and managed service product lines for small and mid-sized businesses across Michigan and the Great Lakes region .<\/p>\n
