Michigan data center<\/a> operator Online Tech will be exhibiting a range of secure hosting<\/a> solutions for mission critical applications, including cloud hosting<\/a>, colocation<\/a>, managed servers<\/a>, compliant hosting<\/a> and disaster recovery<\/a>, at the Midwest Technology Leaders 2013<\/strong><\/a> symposium for IT executives and CIOs held in Detroit, Michigan.<\/p>\n

Online Tech\u2019s Director of Operations Jason Yaeger will be speaking on a CIO panel at the event. Most recently, Jason was the recipient of the 2012 Crain\u2019s Detroit Business CIO of the Year<\/a>, exemplifying innovation in technology strategy, industry leadership and a track record of \u201cgoing beyond the call of duty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jason Yaeger is also Online Tech\u2019s Risk Management and Security Officer. Jason has guided the company through the successful completion of many audits, including SAS 70 Type I<\/a>, SAS 70 Type II<\/a>, SSAE 16<\/a>, HIPAA <\/a>and PCI<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jason also led the investment in energy efficient improvements last year on Online Tech’s Mid-Michigan data center<\/a> facility. As a result, Online Tech became the first Michigan data center<\/a> operator to earn the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR certification, putting Online Tech in the top 25 percent of facilities in the nation regarding energy performance.<\/p>\n

Jason also led the successful UPS infrastructure upgrade in 2011; read Online Tech Invests $1 Million in Mid-Michigan Data Center Expansion<\/a>. In addition to overseeing operations across all of Online Tech\u2019s data centers, Jason is also the Vice President of the Southeast Michigan Chapter of 7×24 Exchange. Prior to Online Tech, Jason was Director of Internet Operations at 20\/20 Communications where he spent 8 years developing the company\u2019s wireless and internet initiatives.<\/p>\n
