In less than two weeks Online Tech is headed to Milwaukee for the Midwest HIMSS Fall Technology Conference<\/a>. We\u2019re going to \u201cRock IT Around the Clock\u201d, with a reception at the Harley Davidson Museum, and then two days of health IT immersion at the Wisconsin Center.<\/p>\n

William D. Petasnick, FACHE, recently retired from his position as CEO of Froedtert Health Inc. Petasnick has more than 30 years of executive experience, and has written and spoken extensively on the future of healthcare within the United States, as well as change management and transformational leadership. He has been a chairman of the American Hospital Association, the Wisconsin Hospital Association, and the Council of Teaching Hospitals.<\/p>\n

There are also going to be many different breakout sessions devoted to different aspects of Health IT. Within the \u2018Technology Innovations\u2019 section are topics ranging from PHI protection on mobile devices, to building encryption strategies, to security in cloud infrastructures.
