Football is a pretty hot topic around our water coolers this morning. How about yours?<\/p>\n

In Ann Arbor, home of our corporate headquarters and two data centers<\/a>, the town is buzzing about the widely-reported hiring of Jim Harbaugh<\/a> as coach at the University of Michigan \u2013 the alma mater of our co-CEO, Yan Ness<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Plus, everybody in Michigan has a slight case of Detroit Lions fever. Particularly over at our Metro Detroit Data Center<\/a>, which is located just 15 miles from the Lions\u2019 practice facility and 25 miles from Ford Field. The Lions, of course, made the NFL playoffs for just the second time in 15 years and travel to Dallas to face the Cowboys on Sunday. Go Lions!<\/p>\n

But nowhere is the excitement more palpable than at our Indiana Data Center<\/a>, which is located in the shadows of Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis, where the Colts will host the Cincinnati Bengals in a 1 p.m. playoff game on Sunday.<\/p>\n

In fact, the location is so prime for football fans that we decided to capitalize on it by hosting an invitation-only tailgate event in our parking lot beginning three hours prior to kickoff. Oh \u2026 and did we mention those invitations will come with two tickets to the game? Yes, indeed. Plus some great food and drink. It\u2019ll be a great day.<\/p>\n

DISASTER RECOVERY WORKSHOPS<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s not all fun and games at our data centers. There’s some serious learning on tap, too!<\/p>\n

We have half-day business continuity and disaster recovery workshops scheduled at our Indianapolis Data Center (Thursday, Jan. 22) <\/a>and our Metro Detroit Data Center (Thursday, Feb. 19)<\/a>. Attendance at both workshops is limited to 50, so register now!<\/p>\n
